I did both of the thing you speak of. Wire prob under the bf and thermo well for the head. I might get a new mantle now.

Just want to give a shout-out to @JacobsLadder for this setup. Thank you dude. I hooked up dual Alcatel 2021i to my 20L lab society short path and it brought me from around 300 microns in the main body to about 75 microns
