I do 1st pass with 0 cloudy. Vac and swapping flasks at the correct time is key. Matter of fact, I’ve done 11 spd runs (4 at home, 7 at my new job), all 1st pass, sub 200 micron. My best was a 20 micron pull at work during a run.
I’m not too sure what all I’m allowed to say about my job. I dont wanna get into trouble.
That’s 1400 dup seal should be good up to a 2 liter spd setup.
Shouldn’t have a cloudy first pass buddy and the 1400 Welch is probably good for a 250ml to 500ml spd
Finally figured out the problem, props to @Rougelabs that helium trick works wonders, my thermometer connector was fine brought my vac down to 5 microns! There was sealant tape inside the connectors they were leaking from all connectors. I appreciate all the help guys
That vacuum problem is wgats causing the cloudiness I’ve distilled liters of CBD on my welch1400 it’s a really durable pump. What do you recommend for a pump

With a 4 cfm per liter of boiling flask will be good
2 liter spd 8 cfm
5 liter 20 cfm
Etc etc
Either the thermo probe, or a micro crack in your glassware somewhere.
