I am trying to figure out the components needed for a vacuum controller, I’d prefer to get something cheaper than the $1200-3000 units and I see a lot of controllers on ebay for sale cheap, I am wondering what I would need to buy to get a digital vacuum controller working for a small short path system.
Make any progress on this?
I would start with the vacuum sensors, and work backwards from there.
What range of vacuum and temp do you need to monitor, and what kind of accuracy do you need?
Came across this neat project

Digivac is well worth it
So check this place out I found that a long time ago searching around and have built a few of them since they’re only 99 bucks sometimes they come with a couple wire terminals that need to be soldered on yourself but if you are enough… Build it yourself and figure it out… they are awesome they work for filtering and rotovap great but spd no …I’d imagine you need a vfd of some sort to sequence vacuum and none of them are real cheap
Nice. I ordered a cheap sensor. I am going to make something similar.
