Using Post ice water extraction for further extraction

Afternoon all,

My shop is just starting up an ice water hash extraction room and for the sake of saving water, (we are in a drought again) we will be running the post extract water through a 5 micron filtration system, to use again for extraction purposes.

Does any one have thoughts on the matter as to how it might affect the final product?

A 5 micron filter won’t cut it that water will get real funky and you will have a real hard time passing microbial screens without further remediation of the water

RO might be a good addition. If microbial is failing I’d add a UV filter as well.
