Hello everyone, small post on question that popped-up while thinking…
Is there any 2 acids isomerization? I rarely see something like this
People around here tried lots of acids and catalist, now thinking that it “might” be a good hypothesis to use different acids at the same time, which for sure will result in different selectivity.
Like for example… (first that come in mind)
HCL and Phosphoric acid, both doesn’t destroy each-other, doesn’t react with each other to form new comp (i might be wrong on this one).
Maybe even use phosphoric pentoxide to dry HCL to more conc%!
This way there’ll be less water - and more phosphoric acid (pentoxide makes acid (phos) with water), which is a big part of hcl tek (drying)
Ion-exchange beads with acid, tho it’s a bit different from 2 acids (i remember reading this one on other thread)
Sulfuric acid is aggressive enough, it may to destroy cannabinod - not best selectivity, but who knows what it capable of? When it’s in a mix with some other acid
I think that with 2 acids idea - it might be possible to get too aggressive acids to work at less rate, and better selectivity due to weaker acid.
This post is more of a hypothesis - please don’t be rude, if i said some bs in chemisty terms.
