Getting it to focus is a bit of chore, but it does indeed get the job done. On a side note, cured flower looks disturbing under magnification.

I will try to find the one I had, it was between 70 and $100 and worked fantastic. It had great software for taking pictures, with some options to polarizing image and such. And I agree, the first time you actually see a bug under the microscope that you never knew was there before will change your whole outlook. Like someone else said it’s gonna make you just want to burn everything down. The craziest thing I’ve seen, me and my friend were observing some kind of mite on a lead.it was a small bug that was mostly solid black in color. Then all the sudden it stopped, and the whole entire black inside of it just popped out of its ass. Either laid in egg took a shit. But just by chance catching that process happen was fucking fascinating

The software for the one I got is pretty basic.
This is a pretty good review. It appears to be the same hardware I have, and uses the same app, but is sold under a different brand name.
Found the login webpage for the microscope, but I haven’t tried to log in yet, because it is in Chinese.
Edit: it lets you in with no user/password if you click the first button. Then you can do network configuration, but not much else.
I have that same one, it works pretty pretty good.
Newer phones have a decent macro shot, you can use it for checking if your trichs are ready.
Definitely not microscope levels of zoom tho.
