Trying to find solutions to CO2 and dry ice shortage

Is anyone else feeling the pain from the shortages here in Cali, or is it just me…?

What I wouldn’t give for a 500# bin of rice right now.

For you ethanol extraction guys who extract -50c or colder, what solutions are there other than buying a chiller? Is it worth extracting room temp :face_vomiting: I can handle the dewax but the chlorophyll coming over in tons doesn’t excite me at all.

We get our dry ice from Foothill Dry Ice in Grass Valley. We are told that they are large enough that their supply hasn’t been affected yet. Not saying that’s going to be the case next week or anything, but we have been getting a steady supply for our customers without issue so far.
