I feel you, has anyone tried the new app, (ios only) does it only work with the pro?
Also, the pro is expensive, but I read it has alot more if not unlimited slots for assignment of watering etc.
They also have a new measurement device instead of just a wc sensor it also does ec ph and temp of the media.
It’s not out yet I don’t think, but it is wcs-2
@Medicine.grower what psi are you feeding those drippers?
I’m using a cheap pump with a small pressure tank, I’ve got the pump set 15-35psi.
Thats way lower than dilution solutions setup the one at my work, its 55psi to netafim .3 droppers, I wonder what the flow rate difference is if there is any?
can use an eco flow brand pump that will achieve 60 psi. Which is what the dab pumps at work put out, they mentioned it was about getting each plant the identical amount of water, maybe that’s just for large systems, but each table still maintains 55psi
Basically I’m curious if flow rate changes with psi, if it does, could it be used to compensate for more/less waterings.
Thanks for the recommendation on the new app. Doesn’t seem like it’s any different as far as control goes. Just different layout?
I wish it data logged more than once every 5 min. Does the pro do it more often?
Still just as useless as the WCS-1. It only measures bulk water content, not volumetric water content. Also only measures bulk ec, not pore water ec. Meaning your ec will only be accurate if your substrate is fully saturated. Even when calibrated to your specific media, they’re wildly inaccurate.
I’m not sure, I’ll look into that, 5 minutes seems like it’s reasonable, why would you want less?
It probably takes that for the meter to effectively monitor the previous watering
Because often when an alarm hits, it doesn’t show in the graphed data. You have to go back and look at alarm record to find some of the data you want.
I have a growtronix unit which is complete trash, but it does data log every min and I just love it. Helps you to see some of your equipment cycling in the space. Shit it was so delicate I could see on the data when someone entered the room. If only the program and equipment was better from them.

Alright I’m with you, having never experienced the other I didn’t know I was missing out, could one not use a data logger like the aroyah then use the TM to adjust irrigation events?
Then there is Trym which says its for growlink or trolmaster
That’s Exactly what im doing zl6 and a data logger it works all be it something with more time slots would be nice we move charts getting better at last
Is there anyway you can find out how they do this as when I connect two boards to the same solenoid they start glitching is there a relay or somthing I need to connect the two boards two before the valve many thanks in advance!!!
