I’ve had a CBD online company here in the UK for a while now, and I’ve jumped through plenty of hoops to keep things professional and compliant with everything I import and sell.
I started out with HHC and other cannabinoids, but after getting shut down on socials, sales slowed and locals and myself got bored of botanical HHC or at best a HTFSE infused distillate which is solid for carts but i wanna bring my customers proper extracts and being in rural England most lads havent seen proper live resin in person.
We’re now looking to switch over to THCa and a Live CBDa sauce blend. Prices have dropped massively since 3–4 years ago, and live extracts are a solid upgrade from botanical HHC extracts… I know some people in the UK will say “meh, HHC / Delta-8 / THCa are illegal”… iv heard the “THCa is readily converted into THC” and so many different things but its actually fully legal in the UK but has to have no visible plant material… even CBD bud is illegal without it being labelled as Tea.
Any stores in the EU or USA that can ship THCa isolate to the UK under strict guidelines i can provide and with 100% insurance that covers any seized/lost items? ideally we want small test orders to be purposely seized and given back if done and labelled correctly, we can start on wholesale orders monthly. iv learned a lot from trial and error, im confident this will work.
I got a rude awakening when customs arrested me over a shipment of Live Resin CBDa sauce. They tested it and claimed it was THC, even though it was clearly CBDa. After months of waiting, the results finally came back fully compliant. But they still seized it, blaming “improper labelling.” I had the MSDS, COAs, and properly filled declarations. That’s when my solicitor gave me some pretty useful explanation about documentation!
I also asked the customs officer directly if THCa is allowed to be imported, he couldn’t answer me but said he would ask the chief analyst/officer, gave me a card and i called a week or so later and they still couldn’t say yes or no? Possible good news?
I sold THCa diamonds years ago back in 2018, called them OctoRox, I didnt know they were legal at the time, got arrested with a few jars and charges got dropped in court, this made me fall in love with the “compliant side” of cannabis… Distillate has never been a wowzer of an extract and thats all iv been able to bring my customers that i could afford to loose… now diamonds are so low and inflation so high I need to get involved!
