I did a room temp ptsa isomerization with a cbda/cbd mix and got the same peaks and when decanted they turned to d8 and d9. I think we talked about it back then as well and my best guess was it was a d8 thca that was produced. I only did it once for fun.
@TheLastHashbender also did quite a bit of d8 thca work if I remember correctly. Maybe he can share more.
@kcalabs can test for D8thca
I would eat my hat if it wasn’t d8 thca. That’s exactly how mine eluted as well and kca confirmed my hypothesis. Idk his solvent system or column parameters but just based off the decarbed results I’d say that he’s most certainly right.

This is where the death penalty should really be used. They’ve got him dead nuts. There’s no need to put him in time out for the rest of his life. That can be made much shorter, much cheaper. There really are quick and easy methods of dealing with this problem, but then the private prisons wouldn’t make 55k a pop…
