Eliminate degradation that occurs in the traditional dry and cure process. Live Dried Buds are larger, greener, and test at a higher potency when compared side by side.
On average we are seeing live dried samples potencies test between 2-5% higher, even after adjusting for moisture. We are pulling out the freeze dryer at the same moisture content as a traditional dry/cure. After freeze drying, the buds cure rapidly upon exposure to oxygen, finishing in 2-3 days.
The flower remains shelf stable for up to a year sealed in a temperature controlled environment. The flower is also stable in a frozen state up to 1 year prior to freeze drying at a temperature of -4F.
