hey I make 75% d8 from cbd + zeolite, after the reaction and evaporating the hexane (used to separate the zeolite) at 30c in my air fryer for about two hours, the distillate is transparent or golden.

but then I up the air fryer temperature at 100c to get rid of the hexane smell then it turns brown/black
when I put it in carts and vape it, it irritates my throat.
Do you think if I use pentane/ether instead of hexane and put the air fryer at 50c to get rid of it, it will not turn black and be smoother for the throat?

yes i do high % thc with pool-filter zeolite and my air fryer

also I think I really wanna try pentane because altho I place my air frier on my window, the hexane smell somehow fill my room then I feel weird and I’ve read pentane is less toxic
but main issue now is d8 throat burn, do you know how to reduce it or is it inherent of d8?
