Thoughts on this Cartidge Formula?

Im trying out a new formula for my next batch of disposables. I wanted to hear some opinions on what you thought about this. I am still deciding between 5% or 10% sugar as I haven’t sampled it yet. But why I am adding the sugar is because I am trying to have little crystals forming inside the disposable.

Thoughts?

5% Botanicals
5% Sugar
15% HTE
75% Distillate

OR

5% Botanicals
10% Sugar
15% HTE
70% Distillate

What is your sugar and HTE looking like

Why botanicals?

Show starting ingredients imo

If the goal is visible thca cryatals in the 1ml melting, you may want to show size / consistency of the material

That will backfire imo. I would fully decarb it.

Some people enjoy a balance between HTE (effectively CDT) and botanicals. This seems to track for me. I personally do straight CDT for carts, but this is all dependent on the preference of the end consumer.

However these guys are right, you are trippin if you don’t decarb the sugar. You do not want crystals inside your cartridge. So unless you are shooting for entourage with your sugar introducing other noids, I would entirely skip the sugar personally.

Lot of people just add HTE to their disty.

Well, care to enlighten me? I was informed that adding sugar into the mixture would create crystals. Which is my end goal. If I’m wrong, let me know. Im always wanting to learn.

Any reason to decarb the sugar? How would it backfire if I didn’t decarb? Im going to run my little test batch in this next week.

Hoping to crash out for visual appeal in a cartridge has been tested over and over.

See cbd carts.

A vaporizer you can just fill with diamonds and reusable took this business.

You simply refill it.

You already carry thca in the HTE. That can melt and carry through.

Botanicals to add a little sweet hint of flavor.

HTE

Sugar

Yeah id cut that sugar out of the formula. Spin its terps out. Youre not going to have a good experience trying to make micro crystallizations after filling.

Is there any reason why? I bought a KG of sugar for this exact reason (to make the micro crystallization)

What vape is this?

Adding BDT to HTE is a crime in my opinion.

I used to do this and understand the positives to it as well as the demand for it, but these days I think that’s just ruining it…

Good CDTs are aplenty these days, no reason for a mix.

To each their own but I do agree

Just use HTE on its own.

Or HDT

You think even adding 1% of the BDT is a hate crime still? Only reason why I’m doing it personally, is to add a little sweet tone.

Still have zero idea why this is the goal

HTE should have that imo

Its like smoking shatter, why?

I’m a purist I guess. When the situation allows I’d rather have evening natural and not synthetic. I don’t think there’s been a lot of research into long term effects of inhaling terpenes in that %, much less BDTs.

Personally I feel negative effects from BDT. Sneezing, harshness, coughing, irritation. I do not experience this with CDT or HTE.

Again this is coming from someone who has done mixing in the past and currently works in the Delta 8 industry, so take my “natural” argument with a grain of salt. That being said, I never really use D8 vapes myself for these reasons. I see a lot of positives with synthetic/converted but I see the negatives too and at the end of the day all I can go on is my experience. BDTs don’t treat me well, but maybe I’m just sensitive.

Bag appeal for the first purchase then they will never buy again after leaving half the cannabinoids in the cart unsmoked
