Can you go into more detail about the Nitrogen Sweep for terpenes? Is anyone doing this successfully? Can it be run cold enough so not to decarb your flower/trim?
Haven’t done it myself.
In theory, with enough vacuum and a cold enough temperature cold trap you should be able to get them.
i theory woudl a Dry Ice cold trap be cold enough?
did anyone progress with any of the ideas? im thinking the same thing, my idea is to just do the runs in a chest freezer set to its coldest settings, run a ltr or 2 per batch, i imagine having a reservoir with a slow feed, drip fed so the soxhlet res doesnt fill and empty too fast and not too slow, run the whole batch in say an hour, come back and re run the ethanol back thru the system if it needs it, but the goal is to keep it so everything stays at -15 degrees or near as possible so it takes more of the good shiznit leaving the bad behind
