I have been extracting for the past 3 years with a 2/3lb BVV active closed loop set up and I’m now looking for a complete upgrade. My goal is to become a licensed extractor in the state of Michigan, so I’d like a CLS that I can bring along on my journey. Here’s what I’m looking for: 10lb passive jacketed CLS with a dewaxing column, CRC column, nitrogen assist and chiller (at least -40). Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated.
It will cost you. Depending on where in Michigan, they can be super strict on equipment. Especially custom. BFS will ask for serial numbers, Peer Review, Field Inspection, Systems Manuals, & Training Documents.
Yeah very much aware, looking to set up a partnership with a local dispensary in my area. They already have a processors license for storage and a facility that could hold a C1D1.
That’s going to severely limit your options. 208-220 is going to get you closer to what you need. I’m sure there’s a polysci unit that might be 120 that reaches -40.
If you’re in an industrial location and you intend to scale, I’d put in a request to your utility to get 3 phase power. 480 V 3ph is going to open your options up to equipment in the future. 208-220V 3 ph will give you more options than will standard 120V.
We have quite a few Michigan machines in licensed facilities. Our systems are modular, scalable and designed to grow with your needs. We also check all of the boxes that you stated in your post.
^it’s always better to buy complete systems that have been engineered. If you buy what you can afford or what fits, you may end up undersized and frustrated.
