Nahhhh, I waited too long to not have to deal with street weed and the fluxation of prices, knowing that your person might be taken off the street, the risk of getting caught, might be adulterated, untested, could be grown near cat shit/a litter box.

I’d rather deal with an adulterated COA mislabelling the potency than risk whatever the fuck is on the street right now. 'cause if that’s all what there is too look out for, well that and the pgr and heavy metals but still I’d rather smoke weed that has hardwater chemicals than risk whatever the fuck is out there right now.

Cause you know what that’s all you’d find with home grow any ways is the pgr uniform nug bullshit and it would most likely not be properly flushed and there would be traces of lead, cadmium, mercury, copper, iron deposits/dirty salt deposits and chlorine because of the city water unless you used a 8 stage reverse osmosis system which, face it no home grown is doing the full 9 yards unless you’re anal about profits or just want dank weed to yourself.

I don’t miss being texted full menus and meeting people and having to be on other people’s time when I could just, pick my weed out online, set a pickup time at a dispo and get a hardship discount with my disability and medical card and pay 20$ less than the regualr prices on top of sales.

Not only that there’s a variety!!! If one doesn’t have something I want there’s like 35 more stores I can choose from, albeit way less options for medical and medical is usually harder to travel to than recreational but still!!! The abundance and options, is really nice.

I don’t buy weed that’s not on sale. I buy an ounce and it lasts me two weeks these days.

Its not about just access to weed it’s about safe access to weed.

I would still rather smoke irradiated weed. I would rather be able to hold someone responsible too. If something happens to you from a product from a dispensary, you can sue.

If you buy a bad of weed that’s molded you can’t bring it back to the guy for another bag or a different strain. I’ve gotten moldy weed before and I went back and I got a different strain with the same percent.

I also hate to say it but x-rayed weed to kill the mold or the potential of someone like handing you weed after they just jerked off or something like that. Idk, there’s at least somewhat of a sterile practice at dispensaries.

There’s a lot more that I trust about them more than the independent sellers but I still buy home grow from independent growers at the freedom rally. I make sure to look for home growers too. Last year I got strawberry cough that I haven’t smoked in over a decade and it was amazing. It was some of the best weed I’ve ever smoked in my life.

But at least there’s something there. Like most of them have tested product even some of the home growers were down with testing. People want to know what they’re smoking. It’s that simple. If you’re buying weed off of Joe Shmoe from bumfuck, you’re buying off of the guy your guy but it’s the guy you never hang out with so you don’t know where that person is storing the weed, who that person got their weed from and if they did a clean packaging which fucking doubt it because we’ve all played the game: “what’s in my pound of weed?” It’s not the greatest practice with dispensaries but there’s more that you get out of them with them in existence, than the uncertainties of a street market.

Hasn’t changed though, people still buy off of their guy. People grow their own weed legal or not. It’s just the option of having someone else selling it to you where you’re not screwed over by a transaction, the amount isn’t exact by weight, again the contaminations are far worse on the street than they would be at a dispensary. Maybe it’s because it’s just another option and there’s so many of them. I like it and it got cheap so I’ve been liking it even more.

“Like what are you gonna do call the police?” kind of moment happens on the street for some people both ways can happen to the dealer or the customer. Getting fucked over with buying weed sucks so much because there’s nothing you can do. With a dispensary though someone is held accountable and can be held accountable. Your money isn’t at a loss, you get a product nmw… Idk

and there’s 50+ year olds who smoke medically who probably want to feel safe and not feel like they can’t relax buying what’s supposed to help them relax. It’s not just weed in a store it’s weed in a store that has safeguards in place to help people not get fucked over and get what they came there for.

Mold should be removed nmw, I don’t think they should be selling remediated flower to people but processing it down the line as a hash oil you can remove most of everything down to 0.1um so I’m not too worried as long as they clean their equipment.
