I had a guy (at his own house party) once give me a big shot glass about half full of 50-mics-per-drop LSD and tell me it was vodka. I didn’t leave his house for days. I was changed forever. After he told me what he had done, I told him “If you try to make me leave, they’re gonna put the best picture ever taken of you in the newspaper, and the worst picture ever taken of me in the same article.” I remember him laughing at me for talking about the crayon dragons that accompanied me everywhere after that for like a month.

I got him back, though. Six months later, I bought of vial of PCP that you were supposed to make 10-15 Sherm sticks with, and evaporated about half the solvent to the point that stuff was the consistency of honey. Then I dipped one of his cigarettes in it, let it evaporate, and waited. He smoked the whole thing. Last words I have said to him were, “We’re even.” He said, “Yep”. Never said another word to each other and we run in the same professional and social circles.

Oddly enough, I still like LSD. He sure don’t like PCP though. And he never smoked tobacco again. I took up smoking cigarillos a few years after that.

Almost 20 years later, if I sweat hard enough, I can still see crayon dragons.

Language, @CellularSecrets … Did you directly define, refer to, or title the two recipes you gave as “detergent blend” and “surfactant blend” above this paragraph anywhere (namely in the the NAMES of the recipes)? I didn’t see it happen. So what on earth are you suddenly talking about with these terms you seem to think everyone can automatically follow without context?

@Photon_noir Duly noted, I am getting a bit too squirrely with the trolls. I kinda expect people to be nicer here, but that’s a dumb expectation. This forum is full of the biggest assholes in the weed world. But, I persist because it’s also home to several fantastic people.

Also, I think its hilarious to be accused of slipping psychedelics into this stuff. The suspicion of muscimol is interesting too because I studied the nicotinic/muscarinic acetylcholine receptors alot early on in my research. And I found really interesting papers about utilizing phospholipid solutions to interfere with undesirable(addiction-based)neurological patterns via m1 and m4 muscarinic receptor activation. The sudden jolt that is caused by these formulas can create a satiated feeling that seems similar to what I’ve read about. I have often believed the immediate effects could be from something in the acetylcholine receptors. It doesn’t seem logical for a cannabinoid to cause full body stimulation so fast. But, there are also lots of mechanoreceptors that can cause weird immediate effects. The BP drop is as rapid as a bong rip, but the classic cannabinoid feeling takes 2-5 minutes to fully settle in. Everyone interprets it as a singular experience, but there are definitely two layers to it. The second wave of the high is way different when different noids are used, but that first few minutes is the same whether its thc, cbd, hhc, etc…There are seemingly elements of a cannabinoid high during the initial effects, but I’ve often wondered if that isn’t due to a rapid BP drop paired with some mechanoreceptor response. I am very excited to get samples passed around to people who can test these things thoroughly. I am a goofball, but this tech absolutely works. And It won’t matter whether i speculated the right mechanism after everyone gets ahold of it. My theories are often placeholders for my own internal purposes. I do this because I am truly committed to progressing cannabis science, and I don’t mind sacrificing my personal character to do it. I kinda like the idea of crazy inventors, and I’m trying to grow the demographic. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever said this. But, the first person who actually tried to perfect this formula was Bob Melamede of Colorado. He was the OG pioneer in edible science, and he discovered this anomaly years before i did. But I don’t believe he ever finished developing it. Idk what happened to him actually, but I just wanted to throw that tidbit in. This is probably an anomaly that tons of people have discovered while attempting to make liposomal cannabinoids, I think I’m just the first person to chase this rabbit hole so deep
