The Chem-Tails in the Sky

Is this thick :brick: in consistence and yellow :yellow_circle: in color

the aspect of the Tails in a SPD?

At 175/185 in the vapors

It’s sad because they came at the same temp than Bodies

maybe your condenser is just too cold? Could be noids. What temp is your condenser at?

At 100 degrees

Whats your crude input? D9, cbd, d8 whatever?

Looks good

It’s a non-analyzed oleoresin that comes from an RXN

Probably a combinations of D9, D8, and residual CBD

It was @HeisenbergInd who teach me that tails come in the form of very thick and yellow cum just after bodies but at the same temperature as those.

I’m pretty sure those are tails as they were coming as the last thing in the main flask.

Sadly I didn’t pay attention and some ( very little)got into the body flask giving a little less than a super clean fresh smell but I guess it is pecata minuta.

Sadly the RxN was done at around 80 microns which are very bad numbers and you won’t see the clean and clear drops in between phases…

I have noticed that as lower the micron the clearer you see the the vapors drop and differentiated the phases are…

With higher microns, you don’t see the clear cut.

This is my observation maybe I am wrong,

Maybe I am wrong and those are not the tail colors either

Its hard to say since you haven’t run analysis on what your input is.

  1. Know what you are adding into your boiling flask
  2. Know what your target is prior to distillation
  3. Differentiate heads from mains
  4. Close distillation once you feel like your head temperature is beyond your target.

Send off your heads, mains, tails for analysis. Refer to lab notes where ( temps, vacuum depth) you saw heads, mains, tails. This should help you dial in the whens and wheres of basic distillation.

I wish I could do that

In the way you speak it looks as you know about basic destilation, in that case you could answer my question if tails usually come in the way of a very thick and yellow cum.
I don’t need to analyze my mind flaks to know what is in it.
Around 80% of D9 and D8 between bad isomeres…
And why shut I analyze tails and heads…

To see how in SPD no one, not even you, make any number correction?

I already know that…
But hey at least I remove the smell to rubber and it feels more ethic. Am I right

You should probably get tested.

For the record, I never said “like cum”:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Your tails will have more of a “cloudy” almost yellow crayon look.

Have you switched heads? Maybe to a bigger bore?

Gentlemen, this is how an absolute pro expert talk…

First said how tails shut look and answered my question…

So now I know that I was not dealing with tails…

And second, and most important he knew that I was redistilling bodies with the heads removed wich is almost scary

So I guess I am getting now the aspect of how tails destill…
