Find it kind of odd that on my largest order the product seemingly switches consistancy, looks, color, and how it reacts to heat and cooling.
Glad they are replacing it though; hoping not to get sent the same bullshit but some clean, white powdered semi-crystalline substance. And what they sent was just not it.
Edit: I would normally order bigger quantities at once but I order smaller batches literally because I was scared of this happening.
Imagine id of purchased a KG of this iso and either A: need to ship it back or B: seller says im SOL

One way to easily find out is just trying a bit of it.
My guess is, it is mainly thca, but it wasnt cleaned up well.
Also the price you paid for it can also give us a hint. If it was really cheap than it could be some other noids mixed in on purpose.
However there are alot of people jumping into the thca game and not everyone knows how to make it squeaky clean. Alot of people still think the grade of thca u got is the best their production can make.
If i were to bet on it, i would say the stuff u got probably tests in at around 85-90% thca and theres probably still atleast 3% fats in it

Honestly it does, it even has that whiteish coating layer on it.
Like a carmex type consistency/color just thicker.

I dont know too much when it comes down to how all the different noids react at diff temps ect.
All I know is my first 2-3 batches from them were clean and as expected.
This isn’t just a run of the mill guy slanging noids either.
Kind of bummed about having to pay extra to ship this back and then wait for a new shipment.
For all of my batches I have paid the same price; and from what I have seen in the market THCA isolate has been getting cheaper and cheaper per kilo.
Maybe they just had a bad run or something and tried to pass it instead of taking the loss.
Just hope this nonsense doesnt happen again…
If it does vendors DM… Paying ~3$ g for THCA products.
Seems they just took the product I returned and threw it in a blender and sent it back…

If it’s a verified hemp slanger and they don’t make it right let mods know. To sell hemp products you need to be verified and if they’re verified you could potentially try to get it resolved via that.

Oh shoot, I had no idea.
Im running these few tests to find out indefinitely, but that sounds ideal.
I was really just going to call it a loss and potentially order from different vendors or try them again at another time (Possibly a new cleaner batch)
I really “hate” to be that guy, but all things considered I did take that f4200 vendor tag and ran with a reasonable priced offer. I know its not insurance by any means, but it is a somewhat close knit community here.
Give me ~4 hrs more and I will be back with results I highly appreciate the info bro.

No problem at all, I mean the verification should mean something or else why the hell bother, right? Verified slangers aren’t perfect by any means but it at least gives some accountability in scenarios like this.

Okay guys… we are cooking with fire now…
Tests came back looking good.
I was worried as the iso was a bit darker iso than usual but had the crystiline/powder (slightly shiny/reflective) properties.
Melted a little dark but I have no room to complain. Looks like a clean solid thca isolate replacement.
Just makes me wonder what and the fuck did they send me the first time

You are 1000% Correct.
Instead of swapping the batch, I would instead pay to ship off a sample; only to wait to figure out what I had. Even though it clearly was not working for my use case and would not even if the test came back as clean iso.

Ime, the decarb reaction is not as simple as one leads on. There are some crazy things happening to the molecule, like civil wars, and what was once a mix of troops is now segregated by region. loads of energy flowing around. Dropping the carboxyl group has factors, not all good. Theres a chance for moisture to form, as a byproduct of the decarb. That will slow down the reaction tricking the operator into believing its complete when its not. so is it as simple as partial decarb, throw it in and finish? In a perfect world, yes, but not in thc-a/thc land.
How do you know when its done? Testing obviously! But for those of us that are hobby enthusiasts we cant afford that and dont have access to gc-ms, hplc.
So i just go by weight and accept the close enough law. Its been validated. Decarb under pressure til 12% net weight loss,
