I need to infuse cbd flower with thca.
I just can’t seem to get it right.
The thca is crystalising back on the buds after spraying… what am i doing wrong here…

At this point stop what you’re doing and just buy THCA flower there’s no difference legally.
Secondly why are you spraying anything? Why are you adding THCA, a crystal, clearly there’s some sort of solvent to spray it?
It’s a powder if you crush it you can literally just coat buds like moon rocks… Static electricity will help it cling, no?
Im using a solvent.
And here in the eu there is a difference between cbd flowers witch are legal in most countries or normal flowers witch are mostly illegal.
So it’s worth doing.
You don’t need to use a solvent to crush THCa and put it on CBD flower.
You do if you want to put it in the flower and not on top

Sure… im trying to do the same as my colleagues in the rest of the eu. Using the same solvent. I think the problem is the thca. Its not terpy and bonedry.

everyone’s pretty much right, here. If you are still having issues with the THCA powder adhering to your bud, first lightly coat your buds in CBD distillate. Then while still warm, add the powder. boom, moon rocks

Thc-a is a crystal at room temp and over 10% will show on the flower
To tackel this problem
The thc-a cooh you have should be
Treated with a high ph wash to make the
Thc-a -ooc this form is less eager to cristelize and can be loaded in a higher %
Eventually it will crystelize so watch the shelf life
Terps are a solvent so you can use a terp spray as adhesive go easy

Basicly it s depritonated thc-a
Dissolve the thc-a in a alkane and wash with naoh ph 13 water let it mix thourogly high speed these compounds do not mix well so you have to mix really hard
Once done wash out the naoh with water and And distill of the solvent
At a low temperature to prevent decarboxilation
