Im trying to convert THC to CBN in my hemp crude. Can someone point me in the right direction of some parameters to try?
I’ve been told uv light will degrade THC to CBN. I’ve never tried it. But that’s what I was told!

Could you isolate the THC and then convert it to CBN? I think there is a synthesis using molecular iodine to aromatize the ring under relatively mild condition. Might be an option. I’d be weary of UV light you may also degrade other desirable compounds.
Ive heard of this as well. Just looking for details.
