I am making cbd carts and also thc carts with same terpenes (10%strawberry cough from flora)
The cbd carts taste amazing but the thc cart I can barely taste the strawberry.
Using the same hardware for both blends, both starting distillate is 88-91%
Cbd seems a lot more runny so I am thinking maybe it just mixes better with cbd?
Would love to hear your guys take on this!
What type of cbd are you using? My cbd isolate has a berry taste when dabb’d. That may he why your cbd carts taste better.
I just ordered the amped up strawberry cough and man it smells amazing out the bottle. I wish there was more time in the day and maybe I could mix some up.
I have found cbd distillate has less of a smell/taste than thc distillate. This makes your terpenes have less to compete with when mixing with CBD. Try upping your ratio on the thc.

Yea… went to 12-14% for testing and somewhat burning my nose when I exhale
Might want to try terps from different companies, I can send you samples of what I use for my CBD carts, taste great, super smooth, no burn.
Distillate should have zero taste or smell to it
The reality is most people are not getting super high quality distillate…
I was reading something about furanone taking a long time to set in flavoring…wish I remember where I read that. My guess is it could be the viscosity. Try some diluent with the thc cart perhaps? Might mute the flavour depending on the diluent though
