I did not; that would be awesome. Glenn Mills sells them.
What do you do to fix it?
Download it and watch it from your gallery
add it to a story on IG, then save the story back to your phone
that’s the way @Dred_pirate does it anyways
Throws things for a razzle when they are longer than 15 seconds.
that’s what she said
And Me…
The video…@future taught me this way
Download it
Go to cloud convert
Pull the video up put you wanna change the format to mp4
Hit convert then when it’s done hit download again it’ll say u already got it but press download again anyways to save the right format
Then I go into y’all’s post delete the code for the video and upload the right video from my downloads on my phone
Thank you for fixing the videos I’m posting from my mobile. I’ll try to use a better format next time
Did you happen to have received a manual of some kind for that flow cell from Glen mills?
When I tried to recreate this I had some massive monos that never dropped and eventually got heavy enough to sink the entire thca portion below the water.
How big was the vessel? that sounds awesome! Do you have pictures?
I can’t imagine this one will get big enough to rest on the bottom but maybe I’ll drain some of the water with a pipette to give it a chance at staying in solution
Jar is still sitting on my rack somewhere haha.
I’ll find it when I get in to the lab. It was a pint jars, will be quite the feat in that jar of yours haha
Yes you can althou the solvents that do this trick are not mothers milk
DMA THF are the 2 that come to mind
But I must admit that under the circumstances
Of a biphasic crystelization reactor I don t know how they would behave
Would be an interesting trail
Water/dmf as botom phase and butane rich crude poured on top
Would the dmf act as an anti solvent in the butane
@Roguelab I was more thinking using something that’s solid at room temperature like c30 hydrocarbons. They ought to have a much greater affinity towards the solvent than THCa so my theory was that if you took a solution of butane saturated with THCa at 40c then added something like triacontane to the solution and increased the temperature to 60c just long enough to dissolve, then reduced the temperature of the solution down to a 0c.
Which component of the mother liquor would precipitate first, the THCa or the triacontane?
I get it’s not gonna be an effective way to separate the components, but I thought it would make for an interesting experiment.
I am afraid that once cooling this mixture You will end up with a gelatine viscosity and no precipitation defenatly on non winterized
Posting to record the shape of a nicely grown pentane crystal. Seeds were grown in pentane.
Love the pentane structures, I just used heptane for first time since I found a half full 5gallon jug of it. Noticed the facets are almost identical yet different (heptane diamonds)
Btw I really dig your water method, love how the diamonds drop after they get heavier. Great work man.
What is the nominal size before they fall?
