If your stick welding, try using a shorter/half burnt rod to get the hang of it, then use the regular length. Tig is tough and there all about the settings
Tig is my jam. Once you learn to tig well, every other method is easier because you get used to controlling every factor individually. This is a hot pass on an 8" ID 1000 psi vessel

I don’t think you’ll find one at Home Depot unfortunately. I couldn’t even find one at my local welding supply.
