I’m experimenting with adding terpenes from True Terpenes to my Hemp Seed Oil based tincture. I’ve been struggling with figuring out how to balance flavor vs. ‘over-terping’ the oil.
If anyone would be willing to share experience on ratio of terpene isolate added to tincture oil volume, would appreciate it. Will be happy to share my feedback and what I come up with here.
I put two drops in mine never had any issue with it tasting bitter
Wich terp do you want to ad ?
Myrceen,linanool, are flowery
Beta carofyleen is harsh
Limo een is strong in taste so very little
So is eucaliptol
and so on the palet you want to create is what I need to know to give right advise
Also realize the effects terps have medicinally differs so the medicinal objective is also something to take into account
A nice blend for tinctures is 1:1:1:1, limonene, caryophyllene, myrcene and linalool at1-3% w/w.
