Tasty Tinctures

In my experience CBD is very bitter so you might want to find a sweeter flavor to balance the bitter? Vanilla or peach mango could be good. If your having issues with acidity then maybe a chocolate flavoring? I cant really think of many basic flavorings off the top of my head. All my brain keeps telling me is to just add baking soda to it. Do you have bitter blocker?

That’s funny, peppermint is the only flavor of my stuff not made with 99 brand schnapps, just because they don’t make peppermint, and customers requested that flavor.

Monkfruit is a bitter blocker and a sweetener that I’ve been trying, but at any amount it seems to just make it taste like Stevia it’s really concentrated! I’m thinking a very small amount of it, then the flavoring on top.

you’re doing an all oil based tincture correct? It shouldn’t matter how you add them as long as you mix well with slight heat.

So I whipped up a 30ml 1000mg bottle with 10 drops of oil soluble vanilla extract from nature’s flavors and 4 drops of sweet orange essential oil from plant therapy. Gotta say it covered up the bitterness quite well and is very pleasant without being over powering. I should mention the vanilla is diluted with sunflower oil. Going to play with the ratios a little bit then get a batch made for this customer.
