Wait what are you saying? And yes we can get it without coil. The coil won’t affect your fractions at all.
It’s 1000 with the stainless high precision gauge adapter. Without it I can probably knock off a good chunk. I don’t know if you got a mistake pricing or it was misquoted. I just checked the website.
Something very different is our connections are superb and will not fail or bend. They are billet gl components.
The coil should usually be looped over the the condenser on the head. This warms the spot up and creates a race for the drainage
The internal coil/condenser thing. I was told by both reps that it was the only option. But ya I don’t think it’ll cause an issue.
I was told 1200 and it’s listed at 1200 on the website? I don’t know.
And neither rep mentioned a stainless steel gauge adapter. How much without it? I just need the most basic adapter for trial runs on new sop I can put as many adapters on it to make it work as I need to. Just need one that won’t leak.
Ya the sight doesn’t show or mention stainless gauge adapter either. What is it? But ya interested in the cheapest most basic option
Just bought two yesterday… after my discount, was $250
Careful with that USA Labs one. I literally had two of them crumble in my hands, under vacuum on first use, trying to lower the valve.
Still running the same one from last year and just got two more stills that use em. Set up 5 SPDs this year for clients and no issues to date.
What are you using for vac grease?
I’m pulling sub 10 micron and the only issue I’ve had are the O-rings. Started greasing them and have been good ever since.
You’ve Set up 5 short paths for clients this year and set them all up on knock off USA lab ones? Damn…
What’s the price tag on their set up? Roughly for a 20 liter
If you call my in am I’ll make magic happen. Right now it’s just too late in evening to call staff members.
They are out of 20L.
I’ll normally “Frankenstein” depending on what they clients end results need to be. I very rarely suggest “turn keys”. Cheaper to piece em out.
I just did a 10L with their glass and mantle. The client had the pump and chiller/heater.
Did USA Lab glass and mantle for under 2k (excluding the pump and chiller). That was all glassware including dry ice trap.
Also, they may be a bit more expensive, but Dave and Matt have always taken care of myself and clients needs.
Had dropped a condensing reviving flask on a 50L reactor (Long story) once. Texted Dave and he met me down there when the shop was closed and swapped it out, no charge.
For service like that, I’ll pay a bit extra.
I’m not sure if you have stake in Aromatrix FF but, been trying to get Dave to carry em. Makes it easier setting new clients up with one to easier explain the different fractions (by read out other then sight… hell, I’ve yet to use one😁).
Some of the people we set up are just not that inclined to catch the fractions properly (some older folk that the SPD is new to).
If you have stake in em, help me get em into USA Labs. They would move fast.
If not, disregard
You get what you pay for. Like higher risks of glass imploding and sending both shards a d hot oil in every direction including your face.
That’s why I lay extra for inventory I can trust. Being the cheapest isn’t always the best.
USA labs is forbidden to vend fraction finder currently.
Yes I am part of arometrix. I am the person who conceptualized it and created the fraction finder. It was a summit idea, product and dev. I placed a few important people together who started arometrix as a side project and I funded and funneled support through it to help bring that product to life…there are much smarter people that came before my time. I’m not a programmer. That’s why I trust these smart people with projects who take so much pride in it that they developed thier own group - and called it arometrix. It’s one of those things that I am extremely proud of and of all things I’m happy to have released interests of the product to individuals who made it 10x better than I would have if done solo.
Summit created the fraction finder. But we knew we weren’t programmers and high end dev guys even though we had the resources to allow them to gather data and create code for it. I handed over FF to arometrix and let them start thier own company. Think of me as the silent investor in the back that made it happen. And still to this day I won’t pull money out. I want it to grow to become something better.
Summit offers the only and best/lowest price of fraction finder so if you need anything you can come to the home of the fraction finder and get immediate discounts and customer care on the product.
Never had it happen to me. Popped a few thermowells but, that was user error during decarb (doing too much shit at once and forgot to open a valve to release pressure🤷🏻♂️)
LMFAO
“USA lab is forbidden”
Get back down to reality you clown.
I’ve NEVER broke any glass while in use minus my own fault. 100% china glass
Excuse me?
Funny, because when I reached out to FF on Insta, they reached out to USA Labs and told me that Dave wasn’t interested in carrying them at this time.
That’s why I asked about helping to get it in UL.
So, you’ve forbidden UL to carry them or FF did?
Whatever people tell you doesn’t mean anything or relay to what happens behind closed doors.
Interested or not I am strictly stating without any previous knowledge of conversations that they will not currently become a distributor. Thank you for your concern. And if you - yourself would like to be a dealer please contact me and well put you through to a manager for becoming a vendor.
I’m just telling you what Aromatrix said. Still have the Insta DM (not posting because I’m not into that shit and I’m not a bitch). I have small clients doing personal work and ones looking to expand and scale up.
Regardless, it was a question. Not trying to start drama between two companies. Not into slamming other companies. I’m a bit more ethical then that and believe in the community lifting each other up. I believe in what you put out, you get back in the universe.
