I would definitely not be fuckin around with Dia’s. That’s equivalent or worse to vitamin E if you ask me. Hopefully it is the newer chems that have not been condemned used for the cream one’s. Someone should get a hold of John since he seems to know everything concerning contents.

I sent in my request for 5 strains and they sent 10! Along with that 10 pipettes, (they are too large for terps but I’ll use them for something else.)
They all smell awesome! The cannabis profile ones smell like some nice wax or shatter (except Maui wowi which has a really deep earthy heavy myrcene smell, will be good for indica carts) the fruity ones smell really really nice, similar to mass terps. I’m very excited to try them out in cartridges! I’ll keep you guys posted but they smell great 
The wedding cake and gdp I’ve found to be nice so far from the strain lines.

I spoke to the owner and here is what I got!
Since Diacetyl has a history of causing popcorn lung in vaping, we do not use it. We purposely avoid ingredients that are known to cause lung issues. Acetylpropionyl is also not present in our products. He was not familiar with diketones as a flavor ingredient and said we do not use them.
We are not aware of ethanol as a cause for inhalation injuries when used in small percentages. We do use small amounts of ethanol in a few of the Flavor Profiles (Not Strain Profiles) and when mixed in a 1ml cart, for example, would be less than a percent of your finished product. This is not exclusive to Sweeterps. All terpene companies use ethanol and there’s nothing wrong with that.

@Roskko You should be careful when making unfounded claims. The legal term for this is defamation. Whether it be in writing (libel) or made verbally (slander), such comments that damage or are likely to damage another individual e.g. ‘lowers an individual’s reputation in the estimation of right-thinking members of society generally’, potentially may give rise to court action.

1% in the final product would be about 10,000ppm. Are you saying if we use your terps we are adding roughly that concentration of ethanol in our vapes?

@ky_cbd It’s less than a percent. I am not sure of the exact number, but if you call the office and ask to speak to John… He will give you call back with exact answers to any ingredient/percentage questions you have.

Yeah that’ll fail you on residual solvents in most states lol. Probably will fail for ethyl acetate too then.
@sweeterps Did you just say your expert in flavor chemistry doesn’t know what diketones are? That is perhaps the most concerning thing out of all of this. That’s the equivalent of a chef telling you they have never heard of butter before.

Valid concerns > Sales pitch with censorship.
Since when was scrutiny/questioning wrong.
They taste and smell great from many reviews, people involved in the science are asking if they can talk on the science as well. Versus dodge. It’s okay to be honest and say I’m not the chemist I’m our sales / marketing team. Etc. That’s when you share the link to them and if they want to respond they will and you move off things you can’t answer. That’s the best they can do to answer this.
But it opens up what you as a sales person should know, when trying to pitch to a science community.

I say we get said valid information first before making claims of poison.
What they sell is straight garbage but making a claim without proper knowledge of what they’re doing yet is jumping the gun a little bit.
Lets just wait for them to respond and possibly even get their “experts” on here to talk to us
