This is in my store purchased “SLEEP” Gummies but not in my “CALM” ones. 1,000mg per package/50mg per serving.
If your terps and disty is on point wtf you adding supplements?

If you wish for your products to really work cannabinoids are not always the right api s so adding compounds to reach your goal makes sense if you ask me
Seems backwards. A little L-Theanine in some calm gummies sounds appropriate, but I can’t seem to see why they would add it to a sleep formulation.
L theanine helps with sleep. I know people who melatonin doesn’t work for but melatonin with l theanine in it does.
Theanine, magnesium glycinate, and melatonin are used in combination in a lot of compounded sleep formulations.
Thanks, I was aware of the second two, but not the first one
Whenever I see brands adding things other than cannabinoids to “help” their gummies I always just assume the cannabinoids in the gummies aren’t doing much, so they are adding cheap melatonin or whatever else to make them actually work.
If it says “with [supplement]!” without mentioning a dosage, assume its 1/10th of a regular dose for that supplement (or less).
My thoughts exactly.
It’s pretty funny explaining to older people on a regular basis they’ve been taking overpriced melatonin gummies, and the 10mg of cbd in there wasn’t doing anything at all… generally denial is the first stage.
Now that I’m aware of it I’m going to be cautious.
And for this case in particular, I’m not sure what the claimed bioavailability of this specific L-theanine derivative is versus the normal stuff, but to me 50mg/dose is quite low.
