Storage of filtered ethanol/oil mix

Want to know how long and how I can store a winterized, fully filtered ethanol/oil mix.

I am thinking about using stainless steel tanks with a nitrogen blanket to store our mix until we are ready for evaporation. Couple reason why we are doing and at most we would be storing for about a month.

Thanks

are you decarbing when you’re done?

you’re heating it to remove the solvent, and presumably going to distillate.

yes. you’ll be fine.

remember, much of the world still soaks their ethanol tinctures at rm temp for weeks or months.

Why not do solvent recovery right away and store crude? Ethanol isn’t that cheap and if you’re storing it you aren’t able to use it to extract more biomass or sell the crude thats mixed in. Plus crude takes up less space and probably doesn’t upset the fire marshall.

Because we want need to start processing and the evap, decarb, distill side of things is pretty technical and will take more time to install. It would only be for a month or so and money tied up in ethanol isn’t a worry. And with the nitrogen blanket it makes the marshalls that much happier.
