Still Available for Work in (Southern) California

Haven’t delivered food in a long time. Or ever eaten anyones food lol. Internet isn’t real life
No need to punch down though, nothing wrong with delivering food.
Reminds me of this NY times article from a couple of days ago.

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/02/business/doordash-tip-warning.html#:~:text=If%20you%20don’t%20add,a%20tip%20when%20checking%20out.

Knew you had to be trolling, but yes, scummy losers will regularly throw fits like children when they dont get tipped correctly, and they will retaliate by just keeping the food for themslves and eating it.

thats not to say I dont support proper tipping. I always give atleast 5 bucks to the kid. more if its more obviously…

I LOVE the fact doordash had the gull to finally come out and say this. and ive never even worked for them. Its pathetic any time someone trys to explain why its valid to not give a half decent tip. im talking even just a couple buckaroos.

edit: heres another , FREE version of that article, because FUCK the new york times for charging a subscription to read 1 single article.

I enjoyed it sometimes, when the money was bad it was annoying though. Could go from making $25 an hour to $5 an hour (before expenses) depending on the night. Gotta really pick and choose your hours and game the system as much as you can. Basic car maintenance knowledge is a must too. Some people in the city do it on eBikes I think that’s the move. I’d do it again if I had to. Beats working at a dispensary being forced to wear a doctors costume :joy:

People who don’t tip hard working, well meaning, service industry professionals don’t deserve to use their services, period. Unless they have a legit reason

Do they force them all to act like douchebags or is that just natural? :joy:

aww man, had a huge douche the last time I went to my local place.

I asked 2 simple questions, and he was a lil bitch about it like I was annoying him or something when we had literally just started talking. Maybe he just rolled out of bed wrong and a stick went up his ass.

Me - “Do you guys have this in stock? saw it online, just making sure”

Him - “…everything online we have in stock”

Me - “…ok.”

5 mins later or less-

Me - “Is it alright if I do 60 cash and the rest on a card?”

Him -“we’ll take whatever money you got.”

Me, slightly annoyed now “Im just asking because some places dont do that”

Him - “…*awkward silence”

Its a shame because the usual guy that helps me checkout is extremely nice and friendly. Not going there anymore.

The little bit I go, I just have them bring it to the truck after I pick it out online. I’m too old for all that. I was raised to be respectful.

Can you give us the name of your hemp store with a menu? And do you guys do door dash or deliver?

I have seizures(not any more thanks to daily cannabis use) and a list of other issues dawg, applied to disability 4 times, in two different states. Denied all times. I have like 20 qualifying conditions. Last most one, the “disability doctor” had me literally put my hands together in front of my face, looked me in the eyes after I did, and told me I wasn’t disabled at all and fine to work based on their very skillful hand touching test… Our approval rating is less then 18% in my state =/

No man. In lotsa states this industry is corrupt af. The Cannabis union based out of Colorado exposes it all pretty clearly. Even down to the on paper taxed bribes to lobbyist to legalize ONLY in the 1% favor… Being sure to bar any poors from participating equally without risk of capitalist exploit.
Need a strong union in this industry. And a end to the FED/current GOV system(yeah, never gonna happen). Sorry. It’s deff not just you tho, keep your head up Bud. Not alone in the suffering

Sorry to hear that

Did you check out FieldNation?

You can make solid daily money. Pick your own jobs that fit your schedule. This job is as simple as: doing an inventory count, and installing software on computers for $520 (8 hours) for my Tuesday.
After insurance and commission to FieldNation it’ll be more likely $450-460. Write off the expenses.
$65hr to drive 40 miles and handle some basic stuff anyone should be able to do these days.

$30hr driving for Uber isn’t enough in today’s time. Technician work for 40-200hr is where it’s at.

HelloTech too

2.5 hour job paid me $430 minus fees. Also had a customer need an electrician an unable to complete my other appointment that day. So I got an extra $25 for the visit.

If you can climb a ladder and handle tools and know basic computer skills you can make more than most.

True facts. My son graduated from high school in 2022. He had limited job experience when he applied at the local hospital to work on their kitchen. He assists in the kitchen, wheels trays around, washes a lot of dishes and makes $52,000 American Dollars per anum. :flushed:

The LMS Tech one sounds fun to me. I mess around with virtual machines running Linux and host servers and what not. It’s my little tech learning space. Seems relevant to that job.

This app seems like a scam. You’re telling me large companies just contract randoms with a laptop and a little certification , to handle the install of all their software? seems dumb in their end . there’s got to be some sort of catch. this is why the IT department exists . I mean if it works and you’re getting paid then good for you, but it doesn’t make much sense to me

I literally worked for Morgan Stanley last week via FieldNation.com

Morgan Stanley recently bought E-Trade if that helps identify them.

Field Nation has given me Hospital Contracts, Fortune 100/500 companies. I do ATMS, Bank Cameras, New Computers, I am the IT Contractor and I pick up work I choose via these apps.

You gotta pass Background checks, Drug Screens for bigger paying clients.

I do Xfinity - Comcast through HelloTech.

@soicythecliq

If you can’t meet the criteria for one gig, you can surely find one that you can.

I also use HelloTech.com for At-Home Clients.

IT departments outsource me for deployment/ projects they don’t have enough staff for. I take a minimum of $40hr

I literally deployed third screen upgrades to an entire floor of cubicles so employees now have 3 screens to monitor. Anyone could do that.

I do work for MainTech, CrossCom, and many more IT companies too. It’s legit. You can upload your licenses. You can use their provided insurances.

I highly recommend you try the future! It’s here.

hmmm. still a catch somewhere . exactly what credibility did you have on your resume when you first started on this website and had a zero star rating? I’m reading a lot of crap about it right now . @XDinF4200jail
