Sterilizing Coronavirus PPE with CLS

As you guys might know there is shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for front line Medical professionals.

After hearing about this (https://www.battelle.org/inb/battelle-critical-care-decontamination-system-for-covid19 ) and this (https://www.safety.duke.edu/sites/default/files/N-95_VHP-Decon-Re-Use.pdf ) I had an idea-

Instead of packing an extractor full of biomass, what would happen if we packed a column full of PPE and ran the extractor with a sterilizing chemical?

Supercritical co2 would probably do the trick. Ruptures cell walls pretty readily from what I’ve heard
