I am looking for a SS mesh or wire basket that I can put quartz banger in and then put into a mason jar (500ml size).
I’ve looked online but maybe I don’t know the right keywords for this sort of product.

i’ve made my own before with shit like this
Amazon SS Mesh
My intention is to have a compact and mobile solution, and mason jars are sealed and ubiquitous.
This is essentially what I am trying to improve upon (for the use case) and use.
I’m trying to avoid learning to weld.
Although if it needs to be made, maybe this can be a project for a company like HashTek.ca can use as a training project for new welders?
oh you wouldnt need to weld. just use snips and form the mesh into your desired shape. then twist the snipped ends and wrap them.
Although turning a microwave transformer into a spot welder is all kinds of fun (if you like that sort of thing )
why not a banger basket?
Dope, I think that stainless screen looks like the best thing for the price for 13$. This is similar to how I clean my stuff.
because I want something smaller and the mason jar form factor is convenient for mobile use, and SS instead of plastic. I offered him the design and he wasn’t interested.
Any sort of infusion basket or steeper should work. That one I linked looks to fit mason jars.
probably one of the more dangerous DIY projects to offer.
We had a kid in my town die a few years back from fractal wood burning using one of these transformers. He was stuck to the transformer for a while (couldn’t react/move), got cooked.
Awesome, thanks dude. I wasn’t thinking tea, my mind was stuck on pickles.
I think I posted a disclaimer last time I suggested this trick… you are correct, it absolutely is a great way of removing yourself from the gene-pool. especially if you decide that running it in your moms basement with your CLS is a good idea.
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve wanted to tinker with a microwave transformer for a while now
the same way I want an actual Van de Graaff generator to play with … probably just best not to
Anyways, I wonder how many bangers you can fit in a standard mason jar.
Now I’m a bit more apprehensive lol, this was going to be my new project for a table

Worth a look:
Awesome! Thanks, they have a build for the device and everything. Didn’t expect to find anything like that here. Now to see if I can get the slabs cut.
