So I got a bunch of tanks that are jacketed sort of. The tanks have been used previously for liquid oxygen and are 304 stainless steel with multiple different set ups. These tanks are not guaranteed in anyway at all and are only for those people who possibly would want to make their own solvent tank or collection tank on a budget. With that being said these tanks were took out of service for multiple reasons but mainly because the company that was using them is no longer offering liquid oxygen so they are disposing of all of the tanks that they had and I just happen to purchase a big lot of them. I have caught one apart with my plasma cutter so that you can see what the insides look like. There are two styles of tank and I presume they are both very similar on the interior. The first style of tank is just basically like a keg with a hole in the middle that is able to except a form of tri-clamp I would imagine. The second style of tank is more like a teardrop dewer style liquid nitrogen tank. The interior of the jacket is filled with almost seems like wax paper under aluminum foil so you would probably need to use some form of screen if you’re going to pump liquids in and out of it. Or you could try to drill a hole and pull it all out of the hole. It looks like on the top of the jacket of all these tanks they have a plug that is threaded in the middle so I imagine there’s some kind of a puller that would allow that plug to come out, but I’m not sure. There are also wheels available for these. Basically I’m looking to sell these tanks for $50 each $10 for the wheels and shipping is going to be at your discretion but I will try to help and accommodate somewhat. Buy some what I mean I will put the tank in a box and drop it off at the shipper of your choice. As far as the sizing there are several sizes of these tanks and I’m not sure how to measure them as of this moment I will update the thread after I have figured out the interior volume and weight of the tank.
