This 310 GC has a CCD ( catalytic combustion detector ) which is not going to work for cannabis testing because it does not get hot enough or have enough sensitivity. It was originally for use in schools to demonstrate the principles of chromatography with volatile molecules like methanol or acetone ( fingernail polish remover etc ).
Look for a GC with FID detector. See this video which helps you identify which detector is which.
