If they can afford to pay affiliates a “commission” (essentially an MLM the way Adept just described it and the support confirmed) then they can lower their initial rates to begin with and get rid of paid referrals all together

if onlys and buts were candys and nuts, then everyday would be erntedankfest.
I do not agree with a lot of the tactics of payment processors, including getting denied/higher rates for being a small business, but that’s the way of the world

I’ve been doing high risk credit card processing for over 12 years, and have several different banks that are willing to take on CBD/Hemp businesses.
These banks sometimes specialize in certain product types and some of them have restrictions, but it’s rare we can’t find a home for most all businesses.

Sure, thanks for asking.
PCI Compliance is reasonably straightforward for most merchants by completing a self-assessment questionnaire.
However, I wouldn’t do it yourself — since there’s free, expert support readily available.
The easiest way to answer the PCI questionnaire and anything else related to PCI Compliance is through the processor.
I represent about 20 different processors/payment gateways, and all the processors I work with (and more than likely all processors) either have in-house staff, or engage outside specialists specifically to guide merchants through PCI Compliance. They will walk you through it each step of the way.
I always tell my merchants to work with those specialists — that way they know it’s been done right and they don’t have to worry about not being PCI Compliant.
