I do like me some aids

I tried an edible D8 chocolate and it was eh. I couldn’t tell to much apart other then being more tired after a while

I will always prefer D9, but for the experience and to compare I tried D8 and not overally impressed. D9 is better.

Has anyone tried the freezing and pulverizing method with great results?

I know I hate this thread but there’s a new tumbler in the works that sprays flower from toms tumblers.

Ever clear and thc distillate and use a paint spray gun

Mix 1 part alcohol to 2 parts distillate. I’m positive the mix can be done with different portions but I only had 1k lbs to move and haven’t revisited thiss process since.

Now I’m thinking of D8 and D10 opportunities

I just pcp ethanol > hemp = good sativa.

Substitute DMT for pcp for a solid dutch indica.

lol /sigh spraying weed.

Acetone and a HVLP spray gun set to 15-20psi… 1:5 to 1:15 ratio d:a works well

I was searching about this and I run in to a add and find this

About our D8 Flower: Uses NO SPRAY! No Solvents! GAS ABSORPTION! It’s done in a LABORATORY! No Kief or Terpenes Needed!

Quit interested

Alchohol disolves trichomes…

Wouldnt an simple microscopic inspection be an efficient method of determining if the material has been tampred with?

Anyway good luck guys I think this is where the real grown and love produced materials will finnally start fetching a better price…

It does not make sense to me as I froze and worked with d8 ā€œshatterā€ recently and it gets too sticky too quick to work well, which leads me to believe that if it wasn’t dry-ice cold, if then, it probably wouldn’t work by breaking up any amount and then rolling flowers, it would also be totally not homogenous

Inject the butane into a centrifuge that is filled with a lightly pressurized nitrogen atmosphere- the butane can be run through a heated coil before being atomized over the material being spun, the nitrogen will protect the terps from oxidation and the butane will instantly vaporize, you’ll end up with a powdered mist of cannabinoids being evenly distributed and be butane will be pushed out by the nitrogen and never contact the plant matter

It’s like a spray drying centrifugal mixer

Do you think that if the lab is not advised they will show D8 as neutral D9?

d8 and d9 are very easy to separate with typical hplc methods, no competent lab should have an issue identifying and differentiating the two.

depending on regs, you can be somewhat deceptive in your labeling of the final product though. for example, in CT you are able to put simply ā€œtotal thcā€ on the label, not identifying individual isomers. curaleaf would do this when they were pumping out mostly d8 distillates

Please Direct message me, working on an SoP similar to this and need some help if you have time. Thanks.

If you are going to spray distillate onto flower, please do not dilute the distillate in a solvent. you can 100% spray distillate onto flower without the use of any solvent/terpene/etc.
