Spent material absorbing humidity

Hey all, I’ve started weighing my material before and after the run; something I probably should have started doing when I started. One bucket of dried trim weighed 638g after the run, the night of. I just weighed it again 3 days later, after sitting in a very humid room and the bucket weighs 642g. Is it likely that this material gained .75% in mass from humidity, or is my scale probably off?

yes, biomass that is sufficiently dried will absolutely pick up water from your environment…or the new (wetter) biomass you bought into the same room.

We dry everything in shipping containers and jts ran within a day or two of being put into socks, and next batch goes to dry. Your solvent will take all the moisture out and it’ll absorb like stated above^^^^

Good to know. Will try to run post weights asap next time

Do you need to know what it weighs after its been extracted? Seems like extra work thats not needed but obviously dont know your situation.

Yeah, trying calculate transfer/crc loss
