Negative. It’s in relation to the non-indicating i.e. 1lb indicating for every 10lbs non-indicating. As for the proportion of sieve beads to material, it largely depends on the pore size and how much water is in your solvent stream.
A vacuum oven is required to actually remove all the water from mol sieve.
Has anyone tried drying the sieves in a freeze dryer? I have one in my lab and thought that may work. Thoughts?

the stuff i got off amazon gets hot in my hand if i add water. That means it works i think im talking just a few pebbles and yes it reacts and does it over and over with drying. I dont vac dry it just a low temp oven.
not after burning a pizza though, im in a conundrum to use my toaster oven for food. Its for powders so far.
I make a Tin foil boat to wrap it in so the powders aren’t exposed
