So I heard you guys like filling carts

Cool but, do you have a cart filler for that cart filler?

I think youā€™re forgetting the gt3ā€¦ letā€™s call it the gt3 of cart fillers

If your implying those rolling carts, they are injection molded plastic. I outsource filling those as i do not own an injection molder.

Okay I want to buy one. I really like your portable small 50ml one but Iā€™m curious how to refill it midway as I always do 100 at a time. Is there a 100ml version of this? If not I may be interested in the 250ml however I like the portability of the 50ml.

If you fill 100 ml, the 250 is for you. The 50 is for people who fill like 5-50 ml. @BG305 inadvertently discovered an even more efficient way that allows one to fill tiny amounts. Releasing in 2020

So I just heat my jar as normal and then set the temp on the reservoir and heating line to the same temp and just pour my material in the 250ml stainless steel reservoir and close it and iā€™m good to go? Do you have a video of you actually filling it or a photo of the reservoir and the opening of it.

I normally fill a thousand or more at a time but usually have it in jars of 100ml for each flavor.

Sorry should have looked there first. Only questions are why does your 1 liter one have an orange hose and tank cover but the 250 is black. and also is there a lid or some sort of cap for the 250ml reservoir for when itā€™s not in use?

Ahhh, thats a great question. The answer is laziness. I happen to be a weed addict. Which means I will only do something if I absolutely have to.

Now that it was brought up, guess what?

Also, no cap. If its not in use I include a lil plastic cap. I may add a pressure system when I have time, but that will raise the cost

If you say there is no loss than I would see no need for a pressurized system as I agree that would add cost, noise and overall maintenance/frustration. But yes the orange version looks more sleek. Iā€™ll D.M you about ordering one.

@qma what is a typical filling temperature for you? Looks to be alot higher than i set mine currently. I invested in a homogenizer so that i can minimize time on the heat, hence why i like to low temp fill carts, but maybe i can raise it a bit.

Now i might just test this with an old glass syringe

I go really high, 90 Celsius on the line and 70 in the res. With these high heats I utilize low residence times

Would you happen to offer a 50 to 250 upgrade kit? I bought the 50 for smaller batches, but could use the capacity of the 250. Wish I could own both options.

Hell, I wish I had a 10ml version with fatter feed hoses and a larger res, for filling chocolate molds, would be dope.

I got both of those things, good sir.

A 20ml continuous feed gun that I would like to test and the capacity upgrade

ill probably be ordering an upgrade kit from you in the coming months then.

keep me posted on the 20ml continuous feed gun, would be awesome for making accurately measured chocolates without needing massive and prohibitively expensive equipment.

@qma this 50 shot is just so easy to use and easier to clean! Thatā€™s the things I was worried most about and you really got it all figured out.

I loaded 20ml in and pulled 20ml outā€¦ Cleaned it faster than I could blink

Absolutely perfect! Couldnā€™t be better

If you fill carts this is a mustā€¦or candies he has the upgrade for that too! This guy has it all

i was thinking of this the other day about qmaā€™s filler, sounds nice it can be used for that aswell, and give the chocolates a nice shine too hopefully if the res temp are somewhat accurate.

going to get one from you in february, would also love a 50ml, and 250ml res.

Seems pretty accurate but if your gonna load chocolates u will need a gun upgrade as well bc the gun doesnā€™t hold enough for that.

I think @qma has that one already figured out w upgrade

okay, would properly start out with just the disty gun, that should be able to make some fine small 1-2g chocolates buttons tho, but buying it for disty alone
