So once you factor in design, prototyping, engineer and manufacturing payroll, facility cost etc. itā€™s not going to be 15k anymore, not even close. Funny calculation and finger pointing you got going on there.

Ok but obviously DIY will be cheaper than buying something, because youā€™re not trying to make a profit on itā€¦ Someone with product for sale has to account for all costs and then have a margin on top.

Water hash is simple. There is not much planning or time involved in it. A simple call down to my fabrication shop and one call to Exergy and I was set. If I charged more than $1k for my ā€œplanningā€, I would be Jew-ing the fuck outta people.

You know in most industries they consider a 3x markup appropriateā€¦ I bet Exergyā€™s exchanger was marked up that much vs what they spent on their own fabrication.

Exergy makes stupendous heat exchangers and their pricing it not green taxedā€¦

3X mark ups are found in industries. Like furniture and jewelry. I donā€™t see why though in this industry. I guess people are just lazy and donā€™t want to do research and actual planning. And that might be the case for many in this cannabis industry. So many big money players, wanting to throw their cash around. Iā€™m here for the people who started this industry. Not the guys who profit the hell out of it on the OGā€™s back.

Exactly. Iā€™m not hating on his product at all. Iā€™m just showing, itā€™s out of control spending for the regular user.

Iā€™m sure a big brand company will buy it. Maybe 4 or 5. Iā€™m showing forum members that want something cheaper but just as good or better.
