Rosin tears?

Today I came across this coming from the flower itself, first thought, that’s terps and cannabinoids, but it tends to change colours , is not only from one plant but it is from one breed, the taste is sweet-salty, any idea?

That’s guttation.

Edit: that’s essentially sap coming out of the plant, that’s why it’s sweet!

Delicious, delicious sugary sap. Wanted to try and find a way to cultivate and market it as (yet another) alternative, plant-based sweetener. Still haven’t quite figured it out. Was thinking the right breed coupled with poppy-style pin priks or maple-style taps. Still think it’s an idea worth exploring more.

Not necessarily true. I’ve seen it happen most in the healthiest plants. They can bleed different colors, too.
