I think you’re onto something here! It definitely seemed to “dry out” quicker than my traditionally cured jars. I would agree that it’s probably doing something to jeopardize the integrity of the more volatile terpenes. I don’t think I will be utilizing it again, unless I am in a pinch for time for whatever reason.
Off topic, but do you have any experience converting rooms in a house, to grow rooms? I’ve been growing in tents for the past two years, and will soon have the opportunity to convert a couple of rooms. You seem to be a wealth of knowledge - would love to pick your brain on that if you ever have time. Air flow / ventilation is my concern, as I want to do minimal modification to the house. I won’t clog/derail this thread up with that, but if you (or anyone reading) would like to DM me that’d be killer.

To collect the anthocyanins in this formulation yes. Super easy stuff honestly. I prefer the half hang dry tek more as it seems to give more full flavor imo. But this is neat too.
Don’t use heat just pressure. You’ll notice it start to gush out fast so have your flow paper creased in the middle to draw all the liquid to a jar and reintroduce with a pipette. Dry the hash and boom purple hash
If you’re collecting anthos en masse it’s easier to just collect it out of the water. Brine worked just fine.
To me though the novelty of purple hash is…eh. Doesn’t transfer over well to dabs. Chars so hard because of all the waxes and lipids you can’t really do anything about due to it being nug. Bubble hash though? More than good.
