Morning hash heads! I have a quick question for those more experienced than myself.
I am washing roughly 3200 grams of fresh frozen today. I wash inside of a 15 gallon stainless brew pot. You guys think I could get away with washing all 3200 grams at once? Would it be smarter to split that into 2 washes? I would rather spend twice as long washing, than sacrifice yield and do it all at once. Thanks in advance! Pictures to follow!

Not a lot of grams. Be efficient in regards to yields not time and effort.
In my opinion making fire hash usually takes a lot longer then just going after yeilds. smaller shorter washers generally yeild lower but have a higher quality yeild. pick your poison

Counting myself as extremely fortunate with this in the rotation. Nose off the jar is funky with a gassy undertone that’s got strong hints of a mix of lemon and berry that’s slightly mentholated on the back end.
Also been seeing a reemergence of OG strains in some markets & could not be happier to come across this. Heavy fuel & mild pine off the bat with a earthy, coffee back end.
The DMJ definitely cranks up the introspection/internal monologue & that Chem is an absolute zone-out, mind-clearer that’s still slightly buzzy & phenomenal in pain relief. Excited to see what’s to come this year. Exemplary work, @Jeremythefarmer & excellent getting together.

Did any of you guys see Lotemps video on using an ultrasonic cleaner to speed up cold cure?
Trying it out this morning on a jar that was pressed tuesday night. will post the after results.
Edit could you bump the heat up and accomplish a jam/jelly consistency with this? hmmmmm. I’ve never tried heat curing. curious what you all think!

Personally I don’t think it would work for jam since it needs to sort of be still to have the thca crash and bind but fuck it why not give it a shot!? Would be awesome if it worked! Got that video sent to me yesterday and it seems pretty good - I need to snag an ultrasonic to give this a shot
I was hoping you’d reply to that one! Hell yeah man, I think we’re going to toss an 8th in a jar and let it rip. why not. you have a temperature you typically like to heat cure at? also, visually it seems that this cold cure run (70F) is going great. I’ll have after pictures within the hour.
