I know it’s just hemp but I would like to see some light dep or some indoor of these CBDV strains washed and pressed. The terp profiles sound enticing for being hemp.

So this weekend has held both the worst and best hash yields of my career thus far. That’s the pinewalker on the left, weighing in at a firm 24 grams from 5 lbs of cured material. I ran it for 12 hours. On the right is one jar of CBG, from a 4lb run, where I have managed thus far to pull and dry about 230g, with another tray in the dryer right now. I expect the total yield to be nearer 300g. Now I have to wear my detective hat to figure out WHY

Jesus christ if that was me I would have had the cops called on me from the steady stream of violence based threats I’d be hurling at my freeze dryer!

@ThePhilosopherStoned fuckin` putting in extra innings there, buddy! looks fucking sick!!!

Maybe a good scoping and measurement of the trichs on the pine walker will reveal something. I noticed that under a scope, CBG trichomes look super freaky. Huge density of capitate-stalked trichomes and they have a very unique structure too.

Yeah. Under a little handheld scope, I could tell that those two were overtrimmed. They still pressed well for flower rosin, and had TAC percentages of 20% and 28%. I think the reason they could have tested well while having lost their heads is that the balloons were popped during machine trimming and the resin could have leaked back onto the flower and absorbed. I had to look for the trichs on those. I also got another bag of pinewalker or something that had been not very trimmed and freeze dried. It has many more visible trichomes on the outside, but turns to dust if you put any pressure on it and when I pressed it for rosin, I just got the most miniscule amount of green-black goop, as opposed to the pretty yellow/orange color that I had gotten previously from the same strain that had been cured and trimmed. It is most curious.

I don’t blame the freeze dryer, I blame the operator of the trimming machine and whoever made those related decisions

Those terpsavers look amazing, can you just break them up gently with your tool or do they explode like shatter?

That’s some pretty fascinating lack of color there. It almost looks clear like silicone or something. What are the terps like?

Those animals I posted are just molded thca isolate like the terpsavers.

Basically flavorless when they are that clear, I put them in the hte to prevent oxidation and give them some flavor.

Looks like this before I mold them.
