Has anyone has luck separating out the terps from the HTE that comes out during rosin mechanical separation?
I have pressed the HTE out from rosin and have a white chip of THCA. The HTE looks like maple syrup with a pretty low viscosity. I’m wondering if anyone has taken this and run it through a distillation process to leave the fats, waxes, and lipids behind?
I saw a thread on here where someone did this with 300g of bubble hash and pulled almost 2% crystal clear terps. I think I can do it with the HTE the same way.
Would heat terps under vacuum and pull them across SPD into a separatory funnel.
Thoughts or experience would be helpful!
