Wow I can’t believe this just happened. People have got to know about the people behind rocco scientific. I placed an order over the phone many weeks in advance and they forgot /misplaced the order. This was disappointing as I now had to pay rush shipping due to the time sensitive matter. Not only would they not cover the 30 dollar fee. When I enquired as to why and expressed politely it’s disappointing that so many errors are occurring these days, And that clients have to keep paying more to make up for others errors it starts to become draining. For some reason it’s like every 1 in 5 things don’t show up these days. You know. So they returned my money and refuse to do business with me now! This company has some strange lack of customer service! I was polite and asked the reason why they would not cover the fee. I even paid them before I politely asked and expressed my frustration about the ordering inquires.
I first many times sent them emails inquiring about angles on glassware and does this fit at this angle etc. It’s pretty unreal but the person responding in the emails will not ever go check the fit or find out if it works for you. I’ve had the most unintelligent replies that are often not answering the question. How can one complete a purchase if they can’t see some of the angles in your photos, or the joint sizes are missing from the options. Over all I can’t believe the nastiness and how this company provides a total lack of customer service. Start voting with your dollars I guess. These people suck straight up. Over a decade in business and I’ve never seen this before, nastiness that’s totally uncalled for. I think it’s at least worth the post to draw awareness to the ethics of this company…
Short path glassware. No ones crying over spilled milk here. I made off like a bandit buying summit glass. Was the same price and I got a distribution adapter for free. Mad sales going on over there! Their sales guys are great. Answered all my questions the previous company would not and I was actually able to complete a purchase lol. Never had such a nasty customer service issue like this in my life.
All in all after 2.5 years of Covid bs, I think some people have decided to just not give a shit about people. And others are choosing to care about people and their customers. The good is finding the good, and the bad finding the bad. Their bad karma ended up being my free stuff day! Wooo summit for the win! You get what you pay for.
I only have ever had amazing interactions with Rocco. They are a small team that handle a lot of business. Small business have things fall through the cracks. It happens.
That’s also their right to turn down business, maybe you caught them on a bad day, maybe you wernt as polite as you thought you were ? Everyone has a different perception of themself then other people do of you. Who knows.
All I can say is I’ve used Rocco for years for any custom pieces or broken pieces or repairs or if I’m in a bind and need something immediately even if it’s a custom job, they’ve always come through for me.
@roccoscientific keep crushing it man. Your customer service has always been excellent for me even after all these years.
Dealt with tony for yrs, never had a single problem. Totally agree^^^ with this, could have been a lot of things going on. They have always gone above and beyond for me, last order 4 months ago. Made shipped and delivered in a week from coast to coast.
I will say the Rocco head I got was mids. But that was my fault for buying it. The hk head from David shit on it. As a matter of fact all the stuff from David shit on the whole Rocco set up.
I’d never order Rocco or summit as long as David sells glass. Is he still around. Haven’t seen him or lanphan post (not that I care about leakphan)
David still sells glass, dunno if he’s active here or not. We’ve had him make us a ton of stuff and it’s always excellent. I don’t consider going to anyone else anymore, except the local guy who sometimes fixes the things my low-precison employees break.
