@Graywolf is the godfather of open source extraction. Truly a blessing to have him
Thanks for the appreciation! Bon appetite!
Thanks for the good thoughts brother! It is always nice to have my efforts appreciated.
I have a semi-related question. I did my first solvent distillation today, it was a success, I recovered roughly 3lbs into that tank, but while i was doing it the cold bath (Alcohol and Dry Ice) were bubbling madly, as if i just poured the alcohol in. Iām assuming this is normal and just the cold bath cooling the now warmer tank with the warm butane getting converted into a liquid again? Thank you again everyone for being nice to my noob ass. lol
He got you too? Heās so hot right nowā¦
my buddy was putting 100lbs of 70/30 into a 125lber with no problems. lolz.
are u saying you can only put 22 lbs of 70/30 in a 50lber?
i dont do math unless im calculating the trajectory of my semen onto my girls buttholeā¦sorry i need shit in laymans termsā¦
There we goā¦
If it was truly a 125lb tank, then that was legit. most tanks sold to this industry are labeled based on how many lbs of WATER they hold (100% full)ā¦but some folks actually state how much solvent will fit (100% full).
At this point I donāt trust anything but a tape measure and mathsā¦
Its from xtractor deepcocks so probs not
Its water weight if its an Xtractor depot tank
Yes, as long as the dry ice is in the alcohol there will be bubbling from the dry ice turning to CO2 gas.
I put my denatured alcohol cans in the cooler of dry ice for an hour with the metal against the block of ice and I think it sublimates less. When I put it in the chiller coil cooler theres no bubbling
I also precool everything in the deep freeze. So it starts around -5
I wish everyone had answers like this guy. Impressive say to least thank you
