Hello Future4200,
My father has been dealing and managing his pain for a long time now. He is a post colon cancer patient with liver surgeries and a colostomy bag for his colon. Currently having issues with kidney and liver.
His finally letting go of his morphine habits and completely moving onto cannabis and hemp for pain management.
Normal dosing is dabbing high thc products or smoking flowers. Fortunately, I was able to move my parents out to Denver from the east coast so we have this type of meds readily available. I wouldn’t say the price or quality of what we get is the best but it is certainly better than black market products he’s been getting in the east coast.
I’ve been seeing positive feedback regarding high dose cbd intake prior to high dose thc intake. What are your thoughts on this? What is the best way to manage his pain with cannabis and hemp products?
He tolerance for high thc products has gotten very high since he stopped taking morphine and other strong opioid.
THC alone doesn’t seem to be much effective any longer. He will dab countless amount of thc products, eat high thc edibles and still experience high pain levels. I know that there are many different isolates of different cannabinoids and want to know what will help him the most.
I’ve been spending a lot of money on his thc products which I think is not as effective as it used to be.
What would you recommend to him?
