I keep hearing reports of clogs coming in. Now I’m tryna see something. If you have recently been receiving clogging complaints please tell me the:

EXHIBIT A
Decarbed diamonds & terps that looked to be poorly homogenized. Cart had several millimeters of oil at the base of the cap & the terpenes had begun to oxidize.
It was carted by Ursa in a ceramic full gram.
Not certain of the intake size, but they appeared to be a fraction of the size of a couple of ceramics I also had with me from Coldfire. Should also note that while I was carrying these in -20° weather which could account for resistance changes, the Coldfire carts held up fine.
I did not get a chance to take photos before @Dred_pirate threw the cart in the trash.
EXHIBIT B
Believe it was HTE & decarbed diamonds. Well homogenized. Clogging is more like a gurgling in the chimney compared to an outright clog.
Full gram AVD.

not a producer, consumer only right now. these 710 lab pods have a spitting/clogging problem (note they did replace my bad pod).

That’s because bho has an exorbitant amount of terps vs rosin. Just nature of the processes.

Sounds like it was poorly stored. Crystals seem to form with heat cycles, and these high thca carts weren’t kept at a stable tempurature. Combined with the oxidized terps (months old cart) it sounds like a storage issue.
Ahhhh, yes, the zirconias that everyone is finally getting excited about. Ursa grabs about 80-90k, twice a year. They use a silicone sealed cart with a ceramic coil (if I recall correctly, they may have switched to quartz since I checked on them)
I am assuming the cart you had difficulties with was purchased in the middle to end of 2020. If it was, and it was a quartz coil, there would be nothing ursa could have done to stop the leaking, as that run was faulty coils

This one is tricky because AVD’s in the us are starting to not be actual avd’s, but basic china clones. It will be a tossup until the real AVD returns to the US
Possible although I believe it was carted in October/November of 2021 (I picked it up in early January), so that would’ve been a pretty substantial order in 2020 for them to still have that hardware on hand. Granted the time could line up given that’s ahead of CNY, but I think they would’ve run through that inventory.

The avd we have in stock are bought from them, but we also don’t use avd anymore, we just have a few boxes that we got in the beginning half of last year and I use those to make personals at work.
@DapperDabMan you have a picture of the cart? I think it’s only shorter because of the mouth piece. I made these before I’m pretty certain it’s 1 gram’r.

How is that zirconia performing, what is it filled with, and when was it purchased?

I’m leaning this way. My friend had one as well on the trip that held up a bit better than mine, but still rampant clogging.
I’m trying to find a cart that can handle my liquid diamonds and holy water formulation and I’m having a hell of a time finding a cart that can handle it without clogging. The holy water is so strong I can’t add too much and the formulation ends up thick af. Was going to try some hardware people have been using with hhc but my standard tpk and avd ceramics can’t handle the formulation. Was going to try a few ccell today and see if they can handle it.
